We are currently seeking a skilled Project Manager to join our dynamic health communications team. As a Project Manager at Lumina Corps, you will play a crucial role in growing and leading our health communications team as you support public health and science research communications programs.

What You'll Do:
- Strategic Collaboration: Work with federal clients to define project objectives, scope, and deliverables aligned with strategic science and health communications goals.
- Client Communication: Utilize your strong presentation skills to convey project progress, milestones, and recommendations effectively.
- Process Development: Create workflows to enhance efficiency, collaboration, and project success across various channels.
- Planning: Develop comprehensive work plans for campaigns, outreach initiatives, scientific report launches, and more.
- Content Oversight: Manage the execution of qualitative research, strategic recommendations, materials development (including print, digital, and multimedia), and outreach activities.
- Project Management: Handle project schedules, budget tracking, and forecasting, ensuring successful project delivery.
- Team Leadership: Supervise and coach team members, fostering professional growth and building an inclusive culture that emphasizes collaboration, creativity, and continuous improvement.
Ideal Candidates Will Have:
- Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in communications, public health, health education, or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum of 6 years of progressive project management experience. Experience with federal public health programs, agencies, or similar contexts.
- Leadership Skills: Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams, including strategists, writers, designers, digital professionals, and vendors.
- Client Relations Skills: Demonstrated experience working directly with clients and offering strategic guidance.
- Expertise: Experience in all aspects of health communications work, from formative research to execution and evaluation.
- Professional Qualities: Excellent attention to detail, multitasking, prioritizing, and independent working abilities.
- Mindset: A positive, solutions-oriented attitude, adaptable to various tasks.
This is a full-time position with benefits, hybrid and fully remote schedules are permitted. Lumina Corps headquarters is in Silver Spring, Maryland; remote candidates will be considered.
