Lumina Corps

Lumina Corps is seeking a Senior Communications Associate with at least 3 years of relevant experience to support high profile federal clients with strategic science and health communications planning and public health communication projects. Ideal candidates will have experience working with federal public health programs on media relations, outreach campaigns, and strategic content development and dissemination.

What You’ll Do

  • Team Collaboration: Work with health communication professionals—including writers, designers, meeting planners, and digital teams— to create and execute creative materials and outreach strategies.
  • Campaign Management: Support the research, development, and launch of outreach campaigns via digital, traditional, and social media channels.
  • Content Creation: Write, edit, and coordinate diverse content such as web copy, graphics, press releases, newsletters, and social media updates.
  • Analytics and Insights: Develop reports to assess campaign effectiveness, providing insights and recommendations.
  • Client Interaction: Work directly with clients to fulfill project requests and ensure on-time delivery of excellent work products.
  • Project Coordination: Track and communicate project progress, ensuring successful completion with team members and clients.

Ideal Candidates Will Have:

  • Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in communications, public health, health education, or a related field.
  • Experience: Minimum of 3 years of full-time work in communications. Experience with federal public health programs, agencies, or similar contexts.
  • Client Relations Skills: Proven ability to build strong client relationships, ideally within a creative or digital marketing agency.

This is a full-time position with benefits; hybrid and fully remote schedules are permitted. Lumina Corps headquarters is in Silver Spring, Maryland; remote candidate will be considered.
